What does this really mean? Well, for one, it means that figuring out the average per-click costs of a pay per click marketing campaign makes sense because everything happens in real time. A pay per click campaign will begin nearly instantly after a company signs up and pays, and it will vanish just as quickly when the company ceases payment. In other words, there is a clear delineation of when a campaign begins and when it ends.

This delineation is important, because it excludes many other potential factors that muddy the waters when you try to apply this same ROI analysis to a campaign created by a search engine optimization company.

Search Engine Optimization

As said previously, utilizing a search engine optimization company can be likened to making an investment in the infrastructure of a business rather than an investment in advertising. This is because with search engine optimization, there is no clear delineation of where the benefit from the campaign ends. If a business stops paying its search engine optimization company at any point after the campaign has been launched (presuming they have hired a decent search engine optimization company), there will continue to be results from that campaign for an extended period of time - usually many months or even years.

Of course, it is not recommended that any business actually quit an ongoing SEO campaign because a good search engine optimization company will always be expanding and honing that campaign over time to make it more successful over the long term. However, budgets get revisited and revised. Decision makers can change. And if the budget for SEO does get cut, a business will continue to see results for long after. How, then, can you determine value on a per-click basis? The simple answer is that you can’t.

It should be noted that while maintaining ongoing results after payments have ceased is a big upside to search engine optimization, the inverse downside is that an effective campaign put in place by a search engine optimization company can take some time to implement, and the results may not appear for weeks or months. A search engine optimization campaign takes patience, effort, and, most of all, time. If a business needs its marketing campaign to be up and running immediately, pay per click marketing is going to be a better short-term choice.

Conclusion

It is important to recognize the innate differences in pay per click campaigns and search engine optimization when trying to quantify results. A pay per click marketing campaign can have a definitive beginning and end, which makes cost per click a good way of determining ROI. Yet the results gained from hiring a search engine optimization company, although an SEO campaign can take much longer to implement, will outlast the results from a pay per click campaign if a business ever needs to cut spending. And this is where the notion of analyzing the effectiveness of a search engine optimization campaign on a cost per click basis breaks down.

I received information in my email inbox about all three of these products, but affiliate Project X is the only one I purchased. I figured many people who are in the same position I’m in would appreciate a quick review of this newest affiliate guide.

What you really wanna know: Is this a scam?

After having read this guide from cover to cover, I can truthfully say - absolutely not. This is the real deal, people.

Anyone who buys affiliate Project X is sworn to secrecy, so I can’t be too specific. What I can do is give you a little idea of what’s inside. This review covers:

I might as well tell you up front that this guide is only 50 pages long. This doesn’t bother me, but some people may not be impressed by the page length. To each his/her own. While there is no doubt that the authors of these popular affiliate guides are using a successful system to earn a healthy full-time income from affiliate sales, it’s what the majority of us aspiring affiliate marketers DON’T KNOW that’s causing our failure.

I’ll be honest with you, affiliate Project X isn’t going to give you a list of ’sure fire’ products that are guaranteed winners. If you need someone to hold your hand and make things easy so you barely have to do any work, then skip this guide. One thing that we all know (but forget sometimes) is that there are no guarantees in life. Same with affiliate systems. However, let me tell you, these big affiliate money earners have been holding out on us!

While they’re doing X, we’re doing Y, and that’s why we fail time after time and they laugh all the way to the bank. Well, many of them won’t be laughing long because affiliate Project X exposes their secret techniques and allows us long-suffering affiliates to get in on the action. Can you imagine actually making REAL MONEY as an affiliate? After reading affiliate Project X, I can clearly see it happening.

EMAIL LIST

You’ll often hear big marketing gurus talk about their mailing list. ‘The money’s in the list,’ is a popular phrase. Of course, it’s true. Many of us are on one big marketer mailing list or another. We’ve seen their sales pitches for various products. Many of us have bought these products from time to time–often with a sense of excitement. Finally, we’re gonna learn how to make BIG money with this method or that. Uh huh.

You know what I’m talking about. I’ve gotten so jaded now that I tune out 99% of guru sales pitches. I’m only interested in buying products that teach me something specific or perform a specific function. Tired of the hype. Tired of the fluff. Just give me some good information straight up.

I told you I’m jaded, right? I actually bought one of Chris’ products (Chris is the author of affiliate Project X) and really like it, so I’m already on his mailing list. However, I’m pretty sure I deleted all messages related to this Project X thing, because I assumed it was some hyped up information product I wouldn’t be interested in. I actually re-discovered his guide on a popular marketing forum. Maybe you’re on a big list and have received some information about affiliate Project X.

So, we all know it’s possible to make good money from an email list by promoting affiliate products. Many have followed the list building principles taught by various gurus and have their own list. But what if you’re putting a lot of effort into your list and getting very little monetary rewards?

Here again, there’s the standard tried and true way that a majority of internet marketers are taught, and then there’s the Project X way that only a few ‘in the know’ folks are doing. Affiliate Project X reveals a really effective strategy to profit from an email list. Again, it’s up to the reader to take action on this technique.

While I’ve used Adwords some, I admit that I don’t have too much experience with it. If you think that you already know how to market affiliate products using Adwords, I’m telling you that you don’t know everything (all those other Adwords ebooks leave out this juicy stuff, why?). If you’re not making decent affiliate money using Adwords, then you could potentially benefit from using the strategies revealed in the Project X guide.

If you’re already doing nicely with Adwords and affiliate products, then you may want to skip this guide. These may be techniques you already know, and then again maybe not. These strategies are definitely for people who could use some help.

PRICE

Currently, the affiliate Project X guide sells for $97 (this price may go up at any time according to Chris. It’s already gone from $77 to $97). It’s definitely not cheap and is what I consider an investment purchase. You have to weigh in your mind how much value you think you’ll get out of this guide compared to the money coming out of your pocket. This guide isn’t going to be for everyone, but if you want it and can’t afford it right now–my advice is to put a little something aside each week until you can afford it. After reading the Project X guide, I feel it is worth every penny–believe me, I do not take spending this kind of money lightly, especially since I’m not a big earner–yet.

SUMMING IT UP

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the information I received in the affiliate Project X guide. There is no filler in this book. Trust me, you will drink up every word as if it were an oasis in a dry desert. There’s nothing like having someone on our side for a change. Someone willing to spilll the secrets of the big earners instead of quietly hogging all the prized information for themselves. Affiliate marketing has turned a corner, and a lot of us will reap the benefits of this new era.
